As a member of the cyanine dye family, Sulfo-Cyanine3.5 exhibits unique optical properties, including a high quantum yield, photostability, and a broad absorption spectrum. WebThus, to demonstrate this, we have used near-infrared (NIR) fluorophore, Cyanine 7.5 (Cy7.5) as a model drug to incorporate in the INCeRT spacers and study the diffusion in real time using optical imaging methods. We have further incorporated Cy7.5 in the NPs to evaluate the size-dependent release and diffusion from the spacers.
