WebFlash sync speed, also sometimes referred to as to as X-Sync, is the fastest shutter speed that will allow the camera to capture light on the whole sensor. Shooting at a faster shutter speed then a camera’s flash sync speed without using high-speed sync (aka HHS, which will be the subject of a future article) will result in a black band in your photos. Sync speed for the EOS R is 1/200s and EOS RP is 1/180s. If you are taking photos in daylight, and using flash for a little bit of fill-in you’ll see no difference on these cameras.

(It would probably be even lower for studio strobes... didn't look at 6D manual, but the 5DIII manual recommends between 1/30 and 1/60, though it depends on the strobes. I've used 5DII at 1/125 with my Norman monolights).
